We collect glasses on behalf of the Lions club Australia’s Recycle for Sight program. To donate your glasses just bring them to any of our stores and they will be sent to those in need in developing countries. 

Where possible we use recycled products and recycle. We also use email and scanning where possible.  

Throughout the North West we work with local Aboriginal organisations and provide both in office and satellite eye care clinics. We are working to help close the gap.

We believe good vision is essential for learning so we routinely send optometrists and staff to provide no charge vision screening of school aged children. We then ensure that any child who is flagged to need a comprehensive eye check is offered one with no out of pocket medicare or imaging charge. 

Annually we facilitate optometry students to visit on work placement and enjoy teaching and showing our beautiful region off. 

Our Narrabri office is approved to provide glasses at no patient cost for those eligible through the Australian Government’s Vision Australia program. We also support this in our Gunnedah, Coonabarabran and Moree stores.  

We run our Gunnedah and Narrabri Practices on solar electricity. 

We have supported countless causes, PRAMS events, local town shows, children’s and local sports teams, golf charity days and the like. We are proud to support our local community who support us by shopping local. We also use local businesses for stationary, printing, signage, work vehicles etc.
